The Damage
Flight Deck #One and Done!
Fairweather Friend (West Coast Pale)
Mr. and I were impressed with the strength of this brew's flavor. I found the aroma super enjoyable and the hops just bounce across your tastebuds. |
Casanova Frankenstein (Imperial Stout)
The name makes so much more sense after our taste. Mr. was feeling that smooth Casanova vibe and that Frankenstein dose of alcohol. Just like Casanova, there was something to this brew's flavor that I just couldn't pin down, but isn't that part of it's charm? |
Harlequin (Honey Blond)
Harlequin was teasing Mr. with a little fruit flavor and he's declared this as a perfect brew for those upcoming summer days. I was stuck in the honey flavors and a little extra kick in the aftertaste. |
The Monsters We Breed (Dank IPA)
Monsters is what Mr. likes to call a "Dinner Beer" with it's complex flavor. I'm learning to love IPA's and Monsters has a sweet smell that draws you in with that IPA bite that keeps you coming back. |
Keyhole (Brown Ale)
Mr. enjoyed the flavor of Keyhole, calling it a classic. I was impressed with the sweet flavor that quickly unlocks to a tangy trip into flavor. |
Rorschach (Coffee Brown with Bangarang Coffee Roasters)
This one was the big surprise for Mr. He is not the biggest fan of coffee brews (that crown belongs to me) and he thought Rorschach had the best quality coffee flavor he had ever tasted. With a slightly sweet flavor, Mr. believes this to be the perfect dessert brew. I was floored by the coffee flavors, especially with how light in color this brew was. I completely agree with Rorschach being named the OC Weekly Beer of the Week! |
